EXPOKNITS INTERNATIONAL was formed in the year 1989, at Tirupur, the busy Knit city of INDIA, as part of the diversification plans of the well established, 50 year old textile manufacturing company, Gayathri weaving works of Cannanore, with an aim to manufacture and export knitted garments, Sportswear, T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Bermuda sets, Jogging sets, Collar T-Shirts with a special empasis on quality. The company made its first exports in the year 1990 to Switzerland. Today, after almost a decade of rich experience in knitwear export trade, the company has been successful in further developing its market to other parts of Europe. It has to be specially noticed that the Company's most significant markets are the quality concious Scandinavian countries of Norway and Finland.
